"The Watcher" is a sculpture by the artist Bellavia, installed on the grounds of Brushwood Folklore Center, Sherman, New York. This film is assembled from Fred Hatt's light-painting photography of The Watcher, done in July, 2013. Music is an excerpt from "Lear", from the album Deep Listening, by Pauline Oliveros, Stuart Dempster, and Panaiotis.
Animation of the drawing of a self portrait by Fred Hatt. The animation was exhibited on an LCD screen alongside the original drawing that resulted from the process shown here, in a group show of self portraits by a diverse selection of 20th and 21st century artists at Figureworks Gallery in Brooklyn in early 2013. The drawing is 18" x 24", aquarelle crayon on paper, and the complete piece (drawing plus animation) is now in a private collection.
A site specific mixed media sculpture installation by Joyce Yamada for the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in NYC. This is a brief documentation of the work as assembled in the artist’s studio prior to installation at the site.
