This large ink drawing was created in a collaborative performance with multimedia artist Nylaia. Nylaia danced behind the paper, with a light casting her shadow onto the paper. I was in front of the paper with ink and a brush. As we recited the poem below, I made strokes following the changing shadow of Nylaia’s body on the paper.
